behind dropping Simeon Jackson (who put in a good shift on Tuesday), and picking a player who doesn't even know his team mates names?

    What has Jackson done wrong?

Not sure as to why we signed him.

Don't think LJ ever really wanted Simeon Jackson, hence the length of time it took to give him a deal. I think LJ realised we needed something else up top and seeing as Jakson was sat there he signed him. I actually think that Jackson looks more of a striker than most we've had recently and his performance against Walsall should have seen him play today. Alas, LJ sees it differently.

That is assuming that the signing was the work of Lee johnson

It's safe to say it certainly wasn't his choice alone

I thought Simeon did well on Tuesday but then again I thought the new guy played brilliantly today (which probably means we won't see him again).

Maybe not, but given Jackson's age, it seems strange he was allowed through the door at all!

I thought Jackson did well Tuesday and the new guy did OK today, not brilliant but not a bad performance either. Jackson and smith should have started up front with winnall on the bench

    "Brilliantly " ?!

I wish my kids were on the receiving end of your school reports! :)

He was ok. Nothing out of the ordinary. Certainly not the pacy winger who can beat a man as described pre kick off. Not grumbling, he was one of our better players, but not in the brilliant category in my eyes.

George Smith would have been my MOM. Did nowt wrong all game and in the 2nd half was our best threat, getting balls into the box.

Ok, I would agree with that. I meant brilliantly for a player in our team! I agree about G Smith too.

One of the best of a bad bunch.

Guess you don't write that in reports though? ;-)

    If a 6/10 performance is brilliant then what's a 9/10?

For a team of juniors playing in the adult league, they all did brilliantly.

You're assuming there is any rationale in our tactics. I'm not convinced, not even close.
