You only need to look back on Keith Hill's coded interviews and Flitcroft's comments about putting out fires

Just be careful mate. I'm not saying I disagree with you or that you've said anything wrong, but I didn't think I'd said anything wrong when I started receiving letters from Mr Cryne's solicitor threatening to sue for defamation of character.

I'm still waiting for his comments. I'm sure he said that his book would make good reading.

I haven't threatened or abused him though Jay, just saying that I don't like the man and sharing some experiences I've had. No law against that, surely?

Do you think I threatened or abused him? What is or isn't within the law isn't the point. It's how much money you have to defend yourself.

    Money talks.

Anyone can be in trouble these days if their farts smell different and you have enough money to throw at a solicitor to challenge it

He'd get **** all from me that's for certain. The suspended sentence might be worth getting just to prove how ludicrous things are. Looking forward to receiving my lifetime ban from Oakwell - going to have it framed.

The outcome of any case (it almost certainly wouldn't get that far) isn't important. What is important is how much you'd have to pay a solicitor to defend you.

I have no money pal, trust me. Let them do their worst, I'll be a martyr for the common fan.

    I know.

Just look at fifa. Not suggesting for one minute we are like that. But something isn't right. We all have our thoughts and some know more than others. You have experienced it and seen some stuff 1st hand.

What is clear is that happy clubs thrive. Always have.

    Unhappy clubs don't.

And we certainly have a unhappy club. It's clear as day.

He wouldn't sue a bloke who was embezzling thousands from the club, so I doubt he'll make an example of a peasant like myself.

matt, just a quick question….. and maybe one that doesn't need an answer, or is hypothetical (and one that i find hard to understand)

Do you think that the current owner, although suggesting to the other, has not sold the club due to his expectations of what he thinks he is owed/should receive from the sale?
I know he has said on many occasions that nobody wants us, but i do find it hard to believe that a club with great history, a top quality academy, a ground that is (barring one stand) of great quality, and an asset owned by BMBC that i am sure in this climate, they would probably be glad of the extra cash, to sell.

sorry i know this is kinda "off topic"
but i have always felt that we may be unfashionable, but we are by no way a piss-pot club…... that someone would be interested in
apologies if you don't want to add your views lol

Matt Bailey on twitter tonight opening the door on the running of BFC interes...

    I back everything you've said / done.

I went against my instincts & renewed my season ticket in the summer & I've pretty much regretted it ever since.

The clubs lost its soul. There's nothing there anymore, no players who've been there longer than 2 minutes since Hassell, Foster, Steele & O'Brien left, a load of loan signings, salesmen in the 'head coach' & 'head of recruitment' positions & a fan base that they've squeezed all the passion out of.

I'm not getting drawn into that one pal, I've no idea - you'd have to put the question to him yourself. All I've said is that in my opinion I don't consider him to be a nice man with any gratitude or compassion.

sorry Matt, its just something thats been in my head for a while and i shouldn't have linked it onto this thread i suppose.

There is such a downer on the club at the moment… i fear for our existence.
