Feel sorry for the lad. He made the mistake but still kept trying throughout. Not good enough and we need to let him go but he is not the only one.
I don't feel sorry for him at all. He's been this n that for a few years now never fulfilled his potential ( not that I saw any personally) With how he was bigged a few year back he should/would av been a first team regular & wearing the armband to boot. For all the Pearson knockers out there today shows what the alternative is. Apart from the fooooook up for there goal,I didn't even know Digby was playing today
I think that's a very poor comment. I do feel sorry for the lad, like any other young lad who has a promising career ruined by serious injury. Paul was excellent when he first came on the scene, and to me it's very sad that it looks as though he may not make it at the level he was capable of. I don't know the lad personally but as far as I am aware it's others who ' bigged him up'..... and with some justification at the time.
This. He was seen as the future and probably rightly so at the time. It might be harsh and unfortunate for the lad having had a series of injuries but we need to be realistic. He's got the turning circle of the QE2 and whilst he'd be world class at walking football he doesn't look like he's got the physical attributes to make it at league 1 or above.
Digby should've had 3 or 4 loan spells by now. Can't think of an academy player looked after as badly as he has been
