This forum is as extreme as I've seen it. Posts diving the fan base, criticism of the club, targeting individual players, loss of hope and passion for our club, conspiracy theories (or facts...maybe). We really are in melt down as a club and customer base aren't we?
I agree, and your earlier posts, Woodbine were spot on. fans support teams through thick and thin, buy tickets when they really can't afford it. Customers expect value for money, talk with their feet and choose what to buy and when.
It's more than the 5 losses that has taken hope and passion away and it's not LJ fault, it is the dismantling of the club and it's constant decline over the last 10 years steered by the board. Plenty of other posts on the forum have explained it well. PC if he can't sell needs to appoint people at board level who are professional and driven who he can trust and get shut off BM take a step back himself. Otherwise it is irrelevant who the manager is Sent from my Hudl HT7S3 using Tapatalk
What has happened over the years is when things turn sour we all heap on the managers back and get him the sack. We then start heaping praise on the powers that be thanking them for seeing the error of their ways. However after reading on here recently the problems at the club are past the manager and it's becoming evident that nothing changes the situations we are in whatever we do. So my thinking is leave the manager where he is. "You made your bed" and all that stuff. If it all turns sour and we end up in div 2 then that's when I don't pay that kind of money for that level of football. If we stay in this division and things have improved then I could be persuaded to renew and I will put it down to a transitional period.
I like Johnson as a bloke but as a manager he's done nothing, absolutely nothing to suggest he's any better than an average third division manager. I have no hope or confidence that we will progress with him in charge.
It doesn't matter who is in charge unless the policy above changes and we get a big influx of money from Stones being sold in January Sent from my Hudl HT7S3 using Tapatalk
Why do we need a big influx of money? We should be self sustainable. How the hell are we hemorrhaging money so fast that we need millions from player sales or millions from the owner just to be able to manage to field a squad of loanees and kids?
In my opinion to bring in a new manager, a new CEO or head of recruitment and a few experienced players to turn round the mess we are currently in it is going to cost a few quid Sent from my Hudl HT7S3 using Tapatalk
To be honest I know you have. I can understand us losing money in the championship. I can understand to an extent we may have struggled immediately on relegation to this league. But certainly this season. Not a cat in hells chance should we be reliant on extra funding. And it has been a line trotted out. And it's one I cannot believe or understand even think it can be accurate.
Agree, and I had high hopes when he was appointed. Although that was the case when Hill was appointed too.
