Tbf it probably shows how him saying he'd had 'a few beers' is the understatement of the year. He must have been mullered to sleep sat on a bog for 7 hours. Comatose.

Not guilty, I didn't go yesterday but I do have form, bizarrely it was exactly 23 years ago yesterday that I slept through the whole of the Rugby League World Cup Final at Wembley, 73,630 people cheering and shouting, one snoring. Refreshment had been taken...

There will have been nowhere near 8000 and odd actually in attendance.

    Don't don't don't believe the hype.

I fell asleep at the Euro 2004 final. Heady cocktail of the heat, too much ale and a terribly boring match. I can recall Nelly Furtado warbling summat before the game, and the trophy being lifted by dem Greeks. Away from Oakwell, a more tedious game I have yet to see.

its a sod but it really has got to the stage where you need alcohol to get the nerve up to watch a game (alright that's a bit extreme like )

I have a bit of form on that front as well albeit many years ago. Fell asleep on the bog in the union nightclub at university and woke up at 4am. Fortunately, the bogs were in the main union building concourse and not in the club itself so i wasn't locked in. Just had a dishevelled walk home in the wee hours.

None of my mates would believe me when i told them, they all thought i had pulled, so i just went along with that story!

"I thought it was a better option than watching that ***** for another 45 minutes " said Head Coach Lee Johnson :D
