Can I just say it's a bit unfair of everyone to pile questions into matt.

He was life and sole of a commentery we all loved. A position we all are grateful to have listened to.

He's had a bad experience and is likely party to a few story's. Story's which I don't think is fair for everyone to push for.

I'm sure we would all rally around but at this point in time when things are pretty **** as they are and emotions raw we could do without pushing a decent bloke into possibly saying something which might later be regretful

Don't worry Nez, I'm daft but I'm not stupid and I know no more about the internal workings of the football club than anyone else in any case. I struggled to get the bloody team news until five to three half the time ffs.

I wish the team well, but I think some serious issues need addressing to get fans back on board.

Just read this thread from last night, and certainly an eye opener.

Damn right it's sour grapes, Spider and I'd say justifiably so - given the fact that the wonderful Mr Cryne didn't even have the courtesy to thank us for our services when he discarded us in order to make a few extra pence to help finance all those amazing loan signings :)

Perhaps it might be better to let your own personal sensitivities be now.

Most of those who follow this board I suspect have like me no idea about the personalities who are playing out before their eyes....

...But are well aware that 5 losses in a row seems to have brought out the thoughts of the ones who take the gold teeth from the corpse.

No Andy, but I doubt I'll be welcome darn t'well for the forseeable future. Like Spider said, hey ho.

Ending on 999 posts and returning to that dignified silence, because like all tarn folk, I just love being walked all over ;)

But Matt when you were on the inside, you were more than happy to take the kings shilling... that why it looks like sour grapes mate....

I think you'll find Matt raised the same angst before the season started. This thread wasn't his creation, his personal tweets on twitter have been shared here by others. So I don't think it's fair to accuse him of such behaviour.

So what exactly did go on when the club canned the Comentary? I'm not defending anyone but seems you have a gripe re how this was done and I'm unsure whether the club decision was right or wrong. I do know the Comentary now offers less value for money and is less BFC orientated than ever.

Shilling? You know nothing. I always told it as it was!

Whoops Spider forced me into a milestone post there.

    Not picking on him

We have not had the same level of alleged interference, or character assassination before though. 5 wins in a row and do you think we'd have the same stuff?

Or 2 wins and a draw and 2 losses?

    I think not

They decided to use Radio Sheffield's coverage for financial reasons. Not that our fee was in any way significant. Anyway, I'll shut up now because I'm offending folk hiding behind usernames.

Remember the phone call conversation I had with Ben? He gave me some reasoning for this decision. It boiled down to saving money, improving the quality for the customers who had complained about the commentary cutting out, and they felt Matt and Adam were very critical of the team and club, both during commentary and on social media.

In other words, they wanted a neutral commentary, the BBC provides that, and, it costs the club **** all.

I'd be a bit sour about it.

You think Matt's gripe is based on the team losing 5 on the spin?

    No

Do you think his gripe and his contempt for PC came about and needed to be aired after we lost 5?
