None of it made sense. I'd love to hear some honest reasoning behind it one day. http://www.barnsley-chronicle.co.uk...ted-me-to-lose-my-job-at-chester-says-wilson- http://www.barnsley-chronicle.co.uk...cking-of-flitcroft-and-staff-cost-nearly-500k http://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/news/article/club-statement-2246768.aspx http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/feb/12/barnsley-sack-danny-wilson-league-one http://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/foot...-danny-wilson-doesn-t-add-up-for-me-1-7104697
It absolutely stinks Andy, we're being lied to and taken for mugs. Isn't there a fans meeting coming up with Ben taking questions?
Not Barmy. Should have gone after the Rovers game. God damn awful dross Let's not forget that The reasoning behind his dismissal should ensure Lee Jay goes the same way. Unless Benji and co speak with forked tongue. Perish the thought!!!!!!!!!
It's that article a couple of weeks before they sacked him that baffles me. An article making a massive deal out of our financial loss, and how £500,000 of it was spent paying off a manager. Two weeks later, they sack another, and the reasons given are again finance based, and allude to a prospect of relegation. Yet here we are now, in the relegation zone, on our worst losing run in 30 ******* years.
We'd won 5 home games ont spin prior to Fleetwood's smash and grab. Away from home we were very poor at that point, granted, albeit against the clubs who were top six. But it was a transitional season, we'd all bought into it, we had a manager with proper pedigree, and we sat mid table, 7 points from both the playoffs and relegation, with a handful of laikers set to return from injury. I don't reckon he deserved sacking even though I accept it wasn't good enough. But this now is far worse, for a million reasons.
Wow, That 'cut and paste' feature is getting some hammer this last 2 months. I bet you would post the same debate in a thread about flower arranging
Mansford is a director on the board, he's going nowhere. LJ has overseen the worst run of defeats in 30 years, if he survives this then he's a one off.
In that case Welcome back to 5k a game BFC Season ticket for sale Any offers considered. Pm if anyone bothered. I will be suprised.
They're just the 'yes men'. Their departure wouldn't change a thing. They'd be replaced with other people prepared to tow the line.
Unless I'm mistaken, we also ran up considerable costs in a desperate attempt to stay in the championship. Remember Frimpong and Shea? These are not "operating losses", they were a deliberate overspending of the budget.
