if you are so unhappy with the Club owner, directors, manager, players etc why keep posting messages about it? If things are so bad for you turn your back on the Club and walk away, put it out of your mind and stop going on about it repeatedly. I have no complaints about PC and the Directors. We have talented players and I fully support Lee Johnson.
Good for you and you're welcome to post to tell everybody just how rosy things are but equally those who don't see it the same way as you are free to post too. That's how it works on here.
Suppose you'll still be as rosey when we're in league 2 playing infront of 3,000 everyweek because thats the way its going unless something changes quick. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Perhaps because its heartbreaking seeing the Club I support dying a slow torturous death !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'll tell u why dust buster, its because we care. It's the club we care about, not those who run it, manage it and play for it. I support the club. I've supported during previous regimes, previous managers and God knows how many players and will do for years to come. To reply to your question, I'd say those who don't express an opinion whether good or bad need to be questioned, not those who care. Walking away is the most easiest thing to do in any walk of life. Fighting for things is the hardest and most rewarding. I know what I'll be doing. Cheers for the question tho.
Because it is perfectly acceptable to be unhappy with the current state of the club without wishing to turn your back on it and see it fail. Voicing your opinion and essentially hosting an intervention isn a perfectly reasonable response to seeing something you love going down a rocky road. If you had a son who had a drug addiction that was killing him would you just turn your back on him?
either a wind up merchant, happy clapper or complete and utter yes man.....or maybe Leejay and benji boy's PR representative either way, I hope this helps dusty bottom
You do understand the principle of having a discussion board don't you you know so folk can air their thoughts!
This about sums me up. I don't believe slagging off the club in public helps the club at all. I wouldn't dream of trying to defend some of our recent performances, Saturday's in particular, but I'll keep my moans private. I don't live on this board but I do visit regularly, and I despair at some of the wailing and gnashing of teeth that goes on when the team has a bad run of form. Everybody has the right to moan, but why can't people just have their moan and **** off, instead of going on and on all bloody week. What upsets me almost as much is the thought that the club actually listen to some of the sh*te that's peddled on here. Whingers or Happy Clappers? There are a lot more shades of opinion on this board if you look hard reevy - they just don't get a look in for the egotists.
Personally, I think if you support Barnsley FC and you have no complaints at all with either the players or the manager or the directors or the owner or any combination of the above, then there's something wrong with you. I don't mean you should be demanding sackings or questioning credentials or slagging anyone off, but if the problems we're experiencing aren't bothering you, where's your soul?
I have done, three years ago, after having a season ticket for 26 years. Is that really what you want everyone else to do?
Off to see em next month.
Can't see why anyone who is very critical of everyone connected with the club except the club cat doesn't walk away. And I'd ask the whingers - is being mega-critical really a way of showing that you 'love the club?' - I'd say not. I respect Cryne and the Directors - and it's not my place to 'judge' them. Of course I'm not happy withy recent performances - I think we have a group of talented players who man to man have not been bettered by any league team I've seen at Oakwell this season. Some players are lacking confidence, one or two are not coming over as team players - Pearson, Crowley, Scowen? However Lee Johnson and players have my unequivocal support and will have it until next May - whatever happens!
