Let's take it turns to say something positive about our club.

I'll start with we have a cracking stadium.

We closed the east stand bar, thus enforcing temperance on the discerning drinker..

...whilst ensuring brewing giants maintain a firm monopoly on fizzy ***** being sold.

Taking into account the poor results & performances away from home over a number of years, the amount of fans that attend these matches is extremely impressive and something to have great pride in.

There are no delays when leaving the ground.

A swift exit means I can be home earlier

It has given me memories which will remain with me forever.

Nobody can take away the players I've seen and the intimidating place Oakwell can be, particularly at night.

Nobody can take away Darren Barnard's goal against Huddersfield; Devaney's at Plymouth; Haynes relegating the pigs; those cool-as-you-like penalties at Cardiff; sticking five past Leeds; Shipperley, Dyer, Dyer, Hignett at Birmingham; and those are just the games I was at, excluding the Premiership promotion season, the one that followed it, and the 2008 cup run.

It's ***** now, but it'll pick up again, and you'll love it more for having experienced the lows.

In fairness, for all our sins, we could support clubs from Sheffield. And we don't.

I saw Ronnie Glavin play and Mick McCarthy, David Hirst, David Currie, Paul Futcher, Ashley Ward, David Watson, Arjen de Zueew, Neil Redfearn, Ian Evans, Ian Banks, Ricardo Vaz Te, John Stones, Nicky Eaden, Trevor Aylott and did I mention Ronnie Glavin play.

I love my club. It's in my heart and my soul. Sometimes like any love affair feelings lessen or become more intense but when all else is taken away love remains.

Supporting Barnsley and the day of the Bradford match was the best day of my life without exception.

    Love Barnsley.

If you like stargazing you can look for Ursa Minor and have a piss at the same time from the West Stand bogs.
