I'm not in the LJ out camp - YET, but at what point are some of you prepared to stick with the current regime?

If we're in the bottom four at the Xmas/ New Year period, looking at the trap door to Division 2, will you still say "Give him time?"

If we're in serious danger of the drop at that time, would you revise your views? I reckon I would, as if he can't turn things round by then, I don't think it's likely he could at any time.

No let's just leave it at that - possibly the first time I've not been wrong...

 

I respect, enjoy and appreciate the quality of your posts. The bit that saddens me (and this is something I do not feel you're guilty of) is when the team has lost, there's a common theme developing along the lines of "I'd like to hear the Happy Clappers defend that". It's a sneering, snidey, condescending attitude to fellow fans who simply have a different opinion to them. This then, rather than enjoying picking up three points, prompts an inappropriate reaction from those criticised to the "Doom Mongers" when we win, it becomes a tiresome, vicious circle. It's all simple, unnecessary, infantile point scoring. Everyone hurts when we lose and feel the joy of victory. These feelings aren't unique to one side of the argument, or the other.

Its called having an opinion. You have one, I have one and every other board member has one.

The only opinions that matter are the one's who have the POWER to change things!

If you want to call it points scoring that is your right.

Happy Clappers, Doom Mongers who cares. If its such an issue don't respond to the Original posts involving such terminology.

Lee Jay in out or whatever, the sands of time will determine which course of action this subject will eventually end up as.

It don't matter.

The only thing that is wrong is we are in the Relegation Zone.

That to me indicates something , somewhere at Barnsley FC is very wrong.

Re-read the OP. Full season, full stop. My ire has been reserved for the club, any comments I've made about LJ I also made about previous managers. Hence the obvious - they can't all be ****, there must be reasons we end up on our arses every season.

If Lee Johnson doesn't turn things round, I'll still be going down to Oakwell (health & finances permitting), as I will if he does. Others can do as they see fit. I wouldn't be arrogant enough to believe I have the right to judge them on how they spend their disposable income & spare time.

Thing is, Andy, can you recall me ever stopping you from calling for the head of everyone at Oakwell? Do I claim you've been 'got at' by clique members? No. So why is it that stating your support for a manager on here is seen as wrong?

It might well be wrong to stick with the current incumbent, I get that, but everyone is allowed an opinion. This isn't so much aimed at you, but you're here now so thought I'd have a pop at you.

Did you get any offers for the season ticket/pass?

 

The happy clappers thing is very irritating and so very very dull.

 

Especially when it appears that I'm in that camp, despite choosing not to use my ticket and clap happily on Saturday..
