We are all criticising LJ and saying he's *****. I would

    1) Bring in short term experienced team management help
    2) Bring in 2 to 3 older players either in Jan or who haven't currently got a team
    3) Send back the loans who are not adding anything to the side
    4)Play a positive 442
5)Give it a go and get the fans going
6)Ensure PC Ben etc keep well away from the manager training and players

Basically I don't really know what LJ should do without just walking away and chalking f#ck on it. Does anyone?

If I were LJ I'd go for option 2,3,4,5 and 6 but if he loses next 2 he should walk

If I was LJ I'd be on phone to my dad. We are lacking old school experience on training ground. Maybe sit up in stand on match days to get a different perspective on the games. Can't do us any harm. Oh,and he knows this league inside out

Anything, just try anything, as what he's doing at the minute is clearly not working. He needs to stop being stubborn and change something.

You mean bring in 3 or 4 experienced players like I suggested in July and got slated on here for ? Johnson is making simple basic errors - ie why bring in Wilkinson when Waring looked a miles better option ie he was decent with ball at his feet holding it up and an aerial threat.

Stick to his philosophy, stay true to himself, it's what got him where he is today.

Ride it out until January. There's no point sending any of the loan players back as we've signed a contract and would have to pay them anyway. They may as well all be here in case of injuries and we need them. Come January send them all back, other than Ben Pearson (not because I really rate him, I don't, but Johnson does, so we've got to back him with the players he wants) and possibly Michael Smith, if he improves. If he doesn't, I hope the option we have on him includes not signing him if we don't want him.

Johnson also has a decision to make on Wabara and Jackson who have both only signed until Christmas.

We then need to recruit. If Williams regains his fitness, we need a winger. If he doesn't we need two. If we re-sign Wabara the defence should just about cope (although another option at left full back would be ideal), if we don't we need a right full back. If Smith and Jackson prove their worth and sign, the forward line should be OK, if they don't we need two, preferably one with experience. And we need an experienced player in central midfield. It's critical.

Until then, play 4-4-2. Not because it's the best system, but it's the easiest to understand and everyone knows their role. It's solid if unspectacular in both attack and defence and it's the best formation for grinding out results, which we need to do. Without doubt, it's not Johnson's preference, but the stuff he's trying isn't working so let's get back to basics until we can instil some confidence in the young players. When players are low on confidence they need to be given a role they fully understand rather than experiment with something that may work better in the long run, but leaves us wide open until it begins to gel. We don't have the luxury to do that at the moment.

Have the players practicing their shooting all week and instruct them to have a go at every opportunity. We'll not start winning until we start having more efforts on goal.

    Everyone cross their fingers.

That's not saying much tbf mate. Maybe he should be looking at where he is today and changing his philosophy?

Put Kadeem Harris in the corner of Oakwell and not allow him to leave until he can actually cross a ball to a man. Reckon that's about 50 percent of our problems solves right there.

HIS philosophy? He hasnt got one. What he does is what an endless amount of young managers have done over the past 6/7 years which is try to emulate Barca's system. Its worked for some of the best because they have the footballing brain to adjust to whats needed when things hit bumps but LJ doesnt have the brain for it.

He needs to play 4-4-2 and play to the strengths of our best player(s) and go out to attack teams rather than worry about what they will do to us or, and this would be my preferred option, resign and go do something he has the ability to do because he is an absolute no hope as a manager.
