Is he bringing Brian Howard with him. I've seen plenty of people flee Barnsley, never have I ever seen 2 men more desperate to come back than those 2. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
I've had it confirmed by a club source that yes, he's coming over next week for a week long trial. Not sure where his fitness levels are at, but I think he'd be a decent addition currently. And you can't knock him for asking to come back, he's been at it three years asking for another chance. He must have loved it here, chuff knows why.
He is more than welcome as long as he doesn't get his boots on. Things are boring enough as it is !!!!!!
Yes he is coming back, had a message off him. He looks quite lean but don't know how match fit he'll be
There have been very few Barnsley players over the years that I really don't like. Even if they're obviously *****, they seem to have at least one redeeming feature. As far as I'm concerned, Hugo Colace has nothing to recommend him at all. Absolutely nothing. I find it almost unbelievable that this player may be coming back. Maybe Johnson is a masochist and he can't do with anyone offering him support. One by one he's going to target us and do something so offensive that we can no longer back him. It's my turn and so we're signing Hugo Colace. ******* hell fire.
He got our player of the season award. In the championship. Must have had something at the time. Anyone know what he's been doing since he left us? Has he played any football?
What's your issue with it/him, mate? Genuinely interested. It's happening by the way, 100%, a week long trial. Who knows after that.
He was decent if I remember correctly worth a trial and you never know he might fit in ok and help turn it around. At 31 should still have something left. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
Last time I looked he had signed with Olimpi (?) in Argentina this summer, before that I think he had played about 25 games since leaving us ! Edit Just googled and its Olimpo, not Olimpi. It doesnt say if he has played for them or not though.
My issue is not his ability or his fitness more the way he thought he was better than the club and was holding out for something better, then when no one came in he did a u-turn and looked half arsed and like he was a disruptive influence in the team. Mind the club LET him take the piss so he duly did. Saying all that he's been desperate to come back. He's seen life after barnsley and that might just mean he has the hunger in the belly. Tbh I'm still a bit 'meh' about everything down at the club and this doesn't really change that
