Gosh, I never thought this would be such a contentious issue, my opinion for what it's worth is that this should come second to life saving surgery, I am flabbergasted that's it's even available on the NHS tho. Gobsmacked TBH.
I don't get ought out of it fella and it's in the news today. I don't give a toss as to what I come across like. I am what I am and all for straight talking. The NHS is a subject I have an interest in mainly due to the fact my good lady is constantly having to manage Millions of Quid, which Cameron and his cronies keep cutting, yet supposedly keep delivering the Top Quality service that her trust keeps trying to deliver.
Mebbe we should go the whole hog and stop treating fat folk anall, a lot of thats self inflicted! Not to mention the mentally ill nobody can see a lot of that so people won't notice!
It may be wise for people to do a basic bit of research. Of particular note are the considerably higher rates of suicide in the transgender community. Eating yourself to death is a choice. Smoking yourself to death is a choice. Destroying your liver is a choice. Anyway, my last comment on the topic.
Born as you are. In your case a buffoon. Do some reading on it, some are born transgender - the clues in the name. Give me strength.
Barnsley NHS trust CEO Diane Wake manages millions to deliver the top quality service that we all rely on in Barnsley...I hope to god that this woman is not the good lady that you refer to...it would be appalling to think that anyone in such a position goes home to a person with your beliefs every evening!
And what beliefs sre they? In Mr Pontys case he has made a valid point and I accept that these people must be treated The rest of em pay there own coin for it
We only have to look at your posts regarding the LGBT community to see what your beliefs are, pal. If your argument was so flimsy that you would concede defeat as soon as someone rightly pointed out you know nothing about it, then why start this thread? answer - because you wanted to stir up some 'queer bashing' like your last thread sad.
I knew you'd ask that, the default of a worried man. No pal I don't but why not just live and let live? Just because someone is born into a different set of circumstances to you or me, why should they be treated in an inferior way or their needs put on the back-burner in favour of the 'majority'?
Gender dysmorphia is a recognised psychiatric illness and should be treated as such, gender reassignment should only be done as the very last resort because I bet that as many people commit suicide after they've had the op and realise that they've made a mistake than people who haven't had it and believe they're trapped in the wrong body.
