I doubt his legs have gone, its not like he'll have worn them out from making tackles or anything is it. #weakaspiss
I for one welcome him back...bloke wants to play for us yes thats right WANTS to play for.... US . not for the manager but Us the club that alone shows his commitment he hasnt kicked a ball yet and folk are dishing him theres one thing that normally happens when someone is commited to a cause..... they go the extra mile and put a shift in week after week to those knocking him already i say this..... get off his back and give him a chance we may or may not be pleasantly surprised at least the guy has the club at heart just like we do my advice ...fingers on lips with the name calling welcome him back like you would a old friend and lets see he might just be that spark and flair we need
One problem. He isn't an old friend. Another. We have seen his level of commitment already Another. He only wants to come back because nobody else will touch him and he's desperate Another. He's crap
I personally think he was a good player last time he was here. Everyone has there own opinions and that's mine. But come on... What's the harm in a weeks trial. If he does ok and we sign him I know he won't be on more than a grand. He's not after money he just wants to play football at Barnsley (Chuff knows why). I will bet ya if he does sign he'll do more than most of the loan players we have had recently.
I want to play for us. Not the manager but the club. I dare say I want it more than this **** who thought he wa billy big ******** the last time he was here. May aswell offer me a trial. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I remember seeing him on Dodworth Road driving a BMW X6. Perhaps that's one of the reasons he has such warm fuzzy feeling about us. FWIW I didn't rate him but perhaps we had higher expectations in those days. As for Doyle (mentioned elsewhere), L2 standard if that.
I'd love to play for Barnsley too. It would be a dream come true. It would hide the fact that I'm a goalkeeper that can't catch a cold, and I have a gap the side of the channel tunnel between my legs. If he does come back, impresses the coaching staff and gets a contract, I wouldn't have him anywhere near that holding midfield role we persisted on playing him in last time. Think he'd do a job behind the striker(s). But would a drop a fit Connor Hourihane for Hugo Colace? Not a chance. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
