To be fair he was ***** when we were a championship team. He had to move to league 2 to show his worth.Nothing to do with us now.
The goals he's scored today, aren't goals he'd get with us anyway, both from a yard. We don't even get the ball in the box. And without Hourihane corners and free kicks would fully anywhere near either.
What would you call fair then pal. We can slag a young kid who's on loan from Man U off on here but it's forbidden to slate G Smith,Digby, Rose etc just because they came through academy. At the time he needed to be sold, likewise RNL cos they were ***** for the league we were in. No point looking back now with its n buts. Only if we hadn't sold Hirst,Agnew, Redfearn, Ward,Higgnet,Hammill, Butterfield................
He patently wasn't good enough. Neither is Digby. The return on our Academy is pathetic. The only decent products from it have been sold to Everton for peanuts. They play academy teams instead of hard reserve games against men. That's why it doesn't work. Not fashionable to say so, but sometimes the truth hurts.
Cant say I have slagged any you mention off, The club thought he needed to be sold and then appeared Leroy Lita. How many games did Rose actually play in League one before you made that opinion of *****, how many in the Championship? I thought we should have hung onto him, we didn`t so we move on no ifs and buts here. I see our own and those that aren`t our own youngsters slagged of on here not just the one side.
Another youngster badly managed by us. If the players not a full back we've not got a clue. Should've had regular loan spells then a run in the team to see how good he was.
The releasing of Rhys Oates has to go down in history as the most bizarre thing I have ever witnessed
The young lads are rarely given a proper chance yet we carry on bringing in young loanees as though there going out of fashion! A ludicrous policy imo
Apparantly so but we are languishing at the bottom of the league so they must be **** rather than hot !
