That's not fair though. Swansea secured huge investment to get to where they are, on the back of being the second biggest catchment area in their country and plans for a new stadium waiting to be signed off. Massive potential. We don't have that same potential unfortunately. Where Swansea have excelled is their managerial appointments and strategy. At least I feel like we've had a strategy recently, it just isn't working for us. It's either the wrong strategy, or we've got the wrong man in Johnson trying to lead it.
Swansea have also had football people running the club who form the strategy and recruit staff accordingly. As much as we owe the fact we still have a club to Pat Cryne, by his own admission he is just like a lot of us. A fan. He just has more money and spends it on his passion.
