Re: PLEASE! Someone point out that he's aiming for the circle in the top right corner

Are you talking about the dark outline of a circle inside the top corner of the net? About 40% of the height of the net and a quarter of the width? Ish

    That's it.

Looks to me like a target? That's what Colace was aiming for surely?

There is one at the other side too, but he was no where near hitting that target, if that is a target , so what are you defending here ?

yeah I can see that one, there's one in each top cornee and it looks like its drawn on the netting in black. But doesn't he miss it by a considerable distance?

I'm saying that mocking him for missing an open goal is very different to being told to curl it in the top corner. Neither are great, but there's a huge difference.

But in true BBS manner lets not let a good fact get in the way of slating someone.

Depends what you call considerable. Those are only tiny nets so that target isn't huge, and he's gone for it quickly rather than setting himself.

I just thought the open goal mocking was harsh considering he wasnt just trying to put the ball in the net. No need to carry the conversation on now though as I thought it was just me going made seeing the 'circle'.

Re: PLEASE! Someone point out that he's aiming for the circle in the top right corner

I thought it was obvious from the start that he was aiming for the top corner from the way he hit it but he still missed by a mile with nobody to distract him or put him off.

The again most of our squad miss the target by a mile when they're warming up before games

Think he's been about long enough to realise that he can put his skills to good use . Probably remembers how good he was for Barnsley and give us some hope of a resurgence . Experience and skills will lift the younger ones to aspire to more
