Six becomes seven. I strangely feel slightly better with us having scored 3 goals. Does this bode well for a turn around being on the cards? Hard to say, it's clear that whatever was said at half time had some kind of positive effect so can that be repeated again? Time will tell as LJ is going nowhere. Looking at the stats we only had 4 on target. Still more than recent games and a much better return in shots on target to goals!
One more league game was what I was thinking, though to be honest I'd forgotten that Altrincham were next up. Lose that and for me he "should" be resigning anyway, though of course he won't. Even if we win the cup games, lose the next league match and surely his position looks untenable, from any rational angle at least.
No? You really don't think so? If it were Blackpool who'd lost seven league games in a row, and you were thinking of having a with-your-head, dispassionate bet on their match away at Altrincham, don't you think there'd be value in backing Altrincham? I really hope not. But I can definitely see it happening.
Just a thought, he has salvaged a tiny bit back tonight but I feel the crunch game is Saturday. Lose that and I doubt he'll survive. How could you entrust the club's future to someone who can't organise the beating of a non-league team.
