It's clearing up as the day goes on, so it shouldn't be like Bradford where a last minute downpour scuppers things, but there was a lot of rain put down in the night on top of already wet ground. Be nice if they could do an early pitch insepection to reassure everyone it's OK (or not if that's the case). http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/forecast/gcqrdx34s
It's one of the best playing surfaces outside the football league, there won't be pitch inspection, if you follow alty TV on Facebook he usually posts an image of the pitch whilst setting up early on a Saturday morning https://m.facebook.com/AltyTV/?tsid=0.15517559531144798&source=typeahead
No, but given the inclement weather and us being thoroughly nice *******s there's every chance they'll give you a section of cover down the side. They usually reserve that for big away followings, but seeing as you've provisionally been allocated that anyway they'll probably open it up for you
What crowd are you expecting today..... considering the thousands travelling over from Barnsley? Surely temporary stands have been specially built to accommodate everybody. Also, what constitutes "big away followings" for you guys? Be aware of the tendancy for the Barnsley big match knob heads to gather in one section and embarrass us all.... mob mentality.
Big away followings here is anything well over 1,000, there's a few big clubs in this league these days that travel well, we had 1,500 from Tranmere here the other week. Your big match types will have nothing to fight with here, they'll just get ignored
Shows how down in the dumps everyone is when we're taking a much smaller following than Tranmere. Still, I'll be there and hopefully we'll all come home happy
