The worst action the Board took was getting rid of Robins. He was the best manager we have had since Danny Wilson (Chapter 1). Look what he is doing at S****horpe. We are heading down to League 2 I'm afraid unless the Board act quickly. The youngsters cannot take the pressure of relegation dog fights every weekend. Hopefully Hammill and Colace will stop the rot!!

I'm still struggling to see what made Mark Robins a good manager for us?
His record was worse than Dave Flitcroft's. He also had us playing boring negative football at the wrong end of the table, and relied heavily on loan players and players brought in at great expense directly out of Paddy's pocket.

As I said yesterday, he's doing well in league 1 which is probably his level. As is Dave Flitcroft, Micky Mellon and Keith Hill. To say Mark Robins was a better manager for us than both Dave Bassett and Andy Ritchie is a big statement.

Even if it was on a contract until the end of the season we would be in safe hands and he would know what players to bring in to steady the ship.Oh and the football might be a bit better to watch.
