Trust Statement For many Barnsley fans the current run of results are the worst in living memory. A run of eight defeats in nine games, culminating in the FA Cup defeat to Altrincham on Saturday, is unacceptable and like all fans we are unhappy with this predicament. Our fans are, rightly, asking questions of the management team, board and owner in respect to how we can end this current run. However, the Supporters’ Trust asks all supporters to continue to get behind our club, especially during the 90 match day minutes. At this moment in time seeing Barnsley Football Club rise up the League One table has to be the priority and the players need us, the fans, supporting and willing them on. The support the team have received thus far this season has been nothing short of phenomenal, with one of the highest away followings in League One, and we urge supporters to continue this level of support throughout the next run of games. The Supporters' Trust will be seeking to talk to the club and owner urgently to get answers on a variety of questions posed by our members. We hope to be able to report back to our membership over the coming days to give them confidence that our current form is temporary and that plans are in place to ensure we climb up the table as soon as possible. We welcome input from ALL Barnsley fans to this dialogue so please contact us through the trust website (http://bfcst.org.uk/contact/) if you have any comments you would like raising. We’ll release a further update in due course. Barnsley FC Supporters' Trust Board
I've no idea what it's supposed to mean this statement - why it's been sent out, who it's aimed to etc. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
It's written in English, and it makes perfect sense to me. It's obviously been sent out as a reaction to the current situation, and it's aimed at people on this board. How much clearer can it be?
It's not aimed at this board in particular. Mostly aimed at some of the worried questions and comments that have been passed to us from members/fans
He stated on twitter that it would take time for him to get things in place to then be able to leave the club, is that time dependant on any Stones transfer?
