    Think we have made a mug of him to be honest. Did he really need to pay himself half way round the world to be told he's not fit enough due to only working in a coffee shop for 2 years.

    Surly the conversation should have been no more than

    "what you been doing with yourself for past 2 years"

    "running a coffee shop"

    "no football"

    "no"

    "sorry you wont be fit enough, Bye"

    FFS I could have told Barnsley he wouldn't be fit enough

    This news on a purely non football level made me a little bit sad. Bloke gave up his time and money and a week away from his job and family to try and earn a contract. It was genuinely touching to see people willing him on, on Twitter and him replying to people. If I had the money I'd have paid his airfare for him.

    LJ said he couldn't just be thrown straight in on Saturday because he's behind after running a coffee shop for 2 years.

    He didn't say that was the end of it though.
