http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p037f793 Personally, I think there's a lot more interesting stuff in there than the stuff about Hugo.
The comment , I know what we need , I have always known what we need . Seems a dig at not being able to bring in experience before
I'm not sure it's a dig as such, but it's some very carefully selected words. His interviews are full of them. I can completely understand why folk don't rate Johnson as a manager, but I don't get why people don't like his interviews. They're brilliant. Every one reveals summat new.
It's because we're losing games. When Lee first took over and we won those 6 games or whatever it was, the vast majority on here made comment about how well Lee spoke, how he was honest and up front. He gets hounded for his interviews now, and the only thing that has really changed is that we're losing games. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
This was the biggest clue that LJ is at odds with the current recruitment policy. Although Hammill is a start I think we need a nasty midfielder in the Shez mould. I can't help thinking someone like Gary Jones would be perfect.
So why did he take on the job then. I'm guessing he knew the recruitment policy then, but then can't come out and say he doesn't agree with it once it's all gone tits up. Let's be honest now unless we win the next 5 on the bounce his times up.. He's lost the majority of the supporters that backed him and he's only in place still because of something Patrick Cryne said after appointing him and I think Patrick now thinks it's him we need out instead of a change of head coach.
