    How about Marc Richards from Northampton Town. They need the cash and would part with him for a small fee to offset their debts and we get a target-man/striker in the mould we need, but now with loads of experience as well. Always rated him when he was here before. If anyone says that he has scored his ten at League Two level, what about the winner away at Coventry City at the weekend. Just a thought. Experienced; scoring; already knows us; target-man striker who can score and make goals. Thoughts?

    Still have nightmares over him missing an open goal from 2 yards at some rundown northern ground.

    The game where we lost 1-0? Promotion season. Taylor-fletcher scored. Chris Shuker also missed an open net within 45 seconds of kick off.

    I used to rate him. Underrated laiker, and been fantastic at this and the level below ever since. Another one who'd be better than Smith and Wilkinson even with one leg.

    I reckon he'd do a job for us. Always liked him. The championship was probably a step too far for him, but he's been a regular scorer at this level and below since, well, the last time we were in this league.
