Truly shocking news this morning. I pray my friends and colleagues are also safe. Thankfully we live in the western suburbs but we're often in town and for my job. Happy to be at home with my wife and boys, safe and well. Mark
Glad to hear it. Mrs Burgundy Red and I have friends who live close by, near Belleville, and their 3 young children will be terrified. Which I guess was the intention. Good to hear you and your family are safe and sound. A+
Glad to hear it. What a shocking sequence of events. I have friends who are currently in Paris. Heard from them this morning. They are OK and about half a mile away but said there was just so much confusion and fear.
Glad that you are safe. Sadly there is nothing the world leaders can do about it. If people want to let off bombs or shoot people dead they will do no matter how much security there is. Security checks for the England vs France friendly at Wembley will be big. Still wouldn't want to go though as it's got to be an extremely high risk event now. Maybe even get cancelled as not worth the hassle with a friendly? If it does go ahead there will be a minutes silence and black armbands surely.
I'm so relieved to hear you & your family are safe, mate. Like others on the thread have said, you were who I was thinking about last night. Football, and it's arguments, seems so trivial today.
Only God knows what you and yours have been through, glad you're all safe. No idea what else to write, for once words fail me. Good luck.
Thank you to everyone for your kind messages and thinking of us over here! My wife and I and the boys made the short walk into our village Vaucresson this morning. As usual we called at our favourite Boulangerie to buy bread and then went to our local café. Normally the High Street is busy with shoppers and locals and the traffic busy, especially on the road that goes to the A13 junction to Paris. It was really quietł. Have to say nervously quiet. Very little traffic and few people. The baker was pleased to see us and she joked as usual with our boys, but the normal relaxed atmosphere had been shockingly removed. My wife had news that one of her friends was at the concert last night. She hid in a closet until safety returned and she could leave in one piece. I dread to think what her family were going through at that time. Our boys football and rugby matches are off this afternoon, so together and safe at home we will be! I'll be listening to Player and hoping for a home win. COYR! Mark
Absolutely shocking news from Paris, very glad to hear you and yours are safe ,keep it that way and listen to the match I'm hoping there'll be some coordinated recognition and solidarity at the game to the plight of the victims .
Will think we will be next as Christmas comes up. I think it is time that troops on the ground is next. We need all Europe , the USA, and even Putin to get troops in and knock Fukc out of them. It will not eradicate them because they are like cockroaches, but it will certainly reduce their numbers.
Glad to hear you and the family are safe. The people of France need all our healing thoughts. Rip the victims
i agree,i never wanted to see troops used again, ever, but this lot arnt going to go away, the world needs to unite and get in and clear them out best they can.
