https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXUZjyZVj6s I personally have some friends who are Muslim... the events in Paris have shaken me.. angered me... I have had thoughts even about my Muslim friends, I have had doubt ... I have pondered long ... but I still feel my friends are just that my , my friends. One Guy in particular .. Ibrahim ... I have known him for around 20 years ... and his family... I have played golf with this man... I have been on holiday with this man... I have laughed long and loud with this man... I shed tears with this man and he with me when we lost our parents over the years. Not every Muslim wears a suicide vest... not every Muslim hates the west. I may well be shot down here for this post... my knee jerk reaction on Friday was to send a Bucket of Sunshine to them as the USA did after Pearl Harbour... I am ashamed I felt that feeling now. HATE is a dreadful and terrible and huge word.... sadly the world is full of it now.
well Whitey I cannot deny what you have just pointed out... however the events on Friday in Paris make you have a second take.... sometimes people get it wrong..... me more than most maybe. But I can have the capacity to look at things and re evaluate... seems you just make a list of things to use to trip people up... what a sad man you are.
Anybody with half of a brain knows that not all Muslims are terrorists Like not all Barnsley fans are idiots apart from the ones that go to the games lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'd take it even further and say that these terrorists aren't muslims. They are terrorists. The religion of Islam, the Quran, does not allow their extremism. They are operating outside of any religion. Not muslims.
No your right but a lot of muslims harbour them and support them, particularly in places like Pakistan. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Koran 2.191 Slay the unbelievers wherever you find them Koran 3.28. Muslims must not take infidels as friends. Koran 5.33. Maim and crucify those who criticise Islam.
Historical context. Interpretation. A good explanation of some of it - http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/722114
Koran 2.191 Slay the unbelievers wherever you find them drive them out from where they drove you out. (For though killing is sinful) wrongful persecution is even worse than killing. (Killing is wrong but sometimes necessary with wrongful persecution Koran 5.33. Maim and crucify those who criticise Islam the penalty for those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and strive upon earth [to cause] corruption is none but that they be killed or crucified (stop people that go to war with you) Koran 3.28. Muslims must not take infidels as friends. Let not the believers take the unbelievers for friends, guardians, and councilors in preference to the believers (Don't be pals with people that believe in a different imaginary friend in the sky, just the ones that like your imaginary friend in the sky) Or are we just quoting vaguely sinister sounding random passages out of context to fit our racist agenda? Maybe you need to go away and come back like holier than thou Dragon Tyke who realised, hey, if I play golf with some of them maybe not all asians are terrorists PRAISE BE TO THE ENLIGHTENED... Jeremiah 19:9 And I will cause them to eat the flesh of their sons and the flesh of their daughters, and they shall eat every one the flesh of his friend in the siege and straitness, wherewith their enemies, and they that seek their lives, shall straiten them Psalm 137:9 Blessed is the one who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks. Exodus 22:20 - "Whoever sacrifices to any god other than the LORD must be destroyed."
No true Scotsman fallacy. Look at Saudi Arabia, where they use Sharia law - Islamic law - to flog people for criticising Islam, or 70 year old men for making wine. Or Afghanistan where they stone women to death upon suspicion of adultery. Or the dozens of Islamic countries where apostasy - giving up the Muslim faith - is a capital crime, laws which have widespread support amongst ordinary Muslims. I'm sure 99.999% of Muslims in Britain don't believe in any of those, but I'd say that is because they have been exposed to Western values. We cannot keep pretending that the problem is not the religion. When you live in a society where it is legal to kill somebody for leaving your religion, or where you can stone somebody to death, or where floggings are routine you are much more prone to succumbing to extremist views. While western Muslims are saying that these extremists aren't true Muslims, a huge proportion of the Muslim world probably believes that western Muslims aren't true Muslims.
Re: well Whitey No mate. I've just got a good memory. When someone constantly posts over a number of years, anti-immigration, anti-refugee, borderline racist comments on here (for which you've been banned before), then it didn't take much for me - and my good memory - to look at this very different post and find it a little contradictory. Dunt mean owt to me. I don't want to trip you up. I just found it out of character, the message in your thread today. And posted as much.
England fans are being asked to sing the French anthem tomorrow. That's the anthem which speaks of cutting the throats of women, of letting the blood run over your furrowed brow. The world's mental.
