    Outside the Bus Station near the level crossing a large column with a child?? on top - what exactly is it commemorating?

    Statue on Victoria Road outside NUM offices is brilliant - not sure about this one at the bus station.

    The Nintendo Game Boy was invented by a chap from Barnsley

    To commemorate, they thought how about a big column of Tetris blocks with a game looking boy on top.

    Him who invented crosswords was also from barnsley ,he's buried in Barnsley, cemetery his plot as your looking from the entrance is four down three across.
