This is a good move IMO. Smith isn't the finished article. White has 150 career appearances to his name and will surely only help. Shame it's only a loan but that's all we can do atm and we do need something. Probably best to take a look at him (on loan) first anyway.

Disagree Zemaj, its smacks of a club who appear to have completely lost the plot.

The priority at the moment is to address the main reason why we are in this mess in the 1st place.

We need to relieve the Manager of his duties ASAP

    I've lost count

How many loan players do we have in our squad now?

Well, yeah, we all know that. Everything the club does at the moment is. But that doesn't mean he's automatically going to be ****, and we need another left back so can't complain at this really.

It might be 8, but that might be how many league games we've lost in a row. Dunno, I'm confused. Maybe there's some correlation between the two.

I seriously rate him, although I have not seen him play since his Leeds days, and I was really hoping we could bring him in at that time in the days of Flicker, I think. All-action, pacy left back, or left side midfielder. Gets forward at pace, tackles well and makes things happen down the left. Thanks, Redders. That will do nicely as cover for young George. We need to get White and Hammill really fit and we will have some serious pace and trickery down our left. Good tutor for George as well to bring him on.

Thats what we've done with Smith and Wilkinson, people are being ignorant to that.

I would say that the failure to deal with crosses into the box has cost us more than anything this season. Just look how many of them our central pairing do not clear. We would have cut probably half this seasons goals out being able to defend properly. Surely if you can't get a a clear header out of the box, then head it out for a corner and deal with the next cross... We have had so many half baked headers in the box from crosses that they can't head clear of danger. Just do the simple thing...

I agree that has been an issue as has everything really this season but Smith and Wabara are both as guilty by letting people get countless number of crosses in the box in the first place because of their fear of getting skinned and standing off poor League One players when they should be tight and have confidence in their own ability because they both have it.

All our team are guilty of standing off every team we play, it's as if they all think their playing Barcelona week in, week out and give other teams buckets and buckets of time and space in every area of the pitch. If you do that at any level you'll get punished eventually.

I'd just like to see one game where all Lee said to the team beforehand is, "Bottom line of this next 90 minutes is get in their faces and do not give them a second on the ball. If you have chased your man all the way back to their goalkeeper then another player needs to recognise that and fill in accordingly to keep shape, just chase and chase."

Because I guarantee we would get at least in the top half if we could consistently get our team doing that with the quality we have on the ball (see Gillingham game as the barometer).
