Aye, I went out drinking with LJ. Jesus wept. I was out drinking with other reds fans, friends if you like who were doing the charity walk the next day. We happened upon LJ. We had 'a' drink with him, we chatted **** for an hour, he wished us well with the walk. And I shared what was said. So, no, we didn't go out drinking with LJ and Mansford. Ben wasn't there for starters. And no secrets. As for saying how great they were - I found Lee to be a thoroughly likeable chap that 'one hour'. If I said so, then so what? But I don't remember telling you how great they both were. Although I definitely did give Ben a lot of praise after he did that charity walk with us and ended up collapsing at the end. So what exactly are you now finding issue with, and where's 'both ways at once' come into it? I've read my post back to myself a few times now, and struggle to see what it is that's caught your interest.
Id wish the trust good luck if the right people were there. How about getting some balls in the trust?
you don't feel you have to be anywhere though do you, to be fair? meetings, matches, anything like that. no need is there? you've got it all sussed, from your crystal clear view in the desert. what is it exactly that you're personally doing, to improve the situation? the ST may be toothless in many areas, but they put $hit loads of their own time in, to try and make things better. you seem to have a lot to say. i'm sure the ST would absolutely love you to get involved and make a difference.
It makes them feel all important because they feel like they're in the inner circle because they've been told something secret. So they then don't ask the important questions like why the **** is the club being allowed to sink ever deeper into the ****[/QUOTE] I doubt very much that people on the Trust are doing it because they feel important. They probably feel p#ssed off by continually VOLUNTEERING to help the club, because they are fans, yet get slated, even held responsible for the demise we're in by people with petty jealousies who can't be bothered to turn up to open meetings. If you want to influence the dialogue, why don't you step up to the plate? For info I am not involved in the Trust, but I do see some of the work they do, and I benefit from the Bar they provide AS VOLUNTEERS. What are you doing to stop the club sinking into the sh#t?
Hicksy is one of the volunteers along with other lads and lasses who do a fantastic job in running redfearns bar,
I wouldn't be welcome at these meetings because I want real change at Barnsley FC. I don't buy into the white Knight thesis I never have. I can't say what I really feel about the goings on around Oakwell on here because we've all be warned by Gally to watch what we post. I'll just say I'm a passionate supporter of over 40 years whose deeply worried about the football club I love and the direction those with the power over it are taking it that's all and I feel a lot of people are subject to manipulation by certain people. If you don't agree that's fine some do some don't no hard feelings either way.
'feel a lot of people are subject to manipulation by certain people.'............Sussed it ,it's the Physio's fault
Well I think you should definitely go to one of these meetings mate and air your grievances, and to be fair to Gally it's his board and he's had to warn people what they say because usually its libellous and with no concrete evidence.
