What is the criteria for them ? I always thought these loans were for when you have no players available to play ie, both keepers injured etc Obviously this is not the case , so what are the rules for emergency loans, are they the same as other loans?
It's just a phrase for any player loaned during the loan window rather than during the transfer window.
**** knows. I always thought they were to cover 'emergencies' usually for goalies hence the term but it seems not.
The window that opens a week after the transfer window shuts and stays open until end of next week is called the 'emergency loan window'. Nowt to do with injuries or owt. If your gk gets injured after the emergency loan window closes you can still loan a gk.
I just associate the term emergency loan with keepers. Normal loans are just loans. Anyway who gives a ****, right now a loan means playing for Barnsley.
This IS an emergency. We need to stay above Crewe. We tried changing tactics many times and it did not work. Now we're changing the pitch personnel many times. This may not work either. We've tried changing the manager before. Many times. This is an emergency.
Surely it's an emergency though? We're *****, we need new players, we've only got 8 loanees? That's deffo an emergency on so many different levels in my eyes.
