i'm only just learning about the horrific atrocities in Paris last weekend, so excuse me forrabit. For now I'd just like to say a massive Thanks for all the nice messages and comments. I haven't seen them but Gally and others told me they were here and on FB etc. I'm feeling much better and am currently in the good care of the Stroke Rehab Unit in Kendray. Big love especially to the brilliant and beautiful lasses of ward 23 at Barnsley Gen. If you really have to be seriously ill, there is no better place to be. Be very proud of your local medical/care workers people!! Still not completely 100% out of the woods though, as I clearly expressed a wish to visit Oakwell to watch the Reds. That's some time off yet, but I'm looking for someone to drop by the club shop and pick up a shirt for me to slob about in while I get better. Still No word on my hospital visit from Adam hammill, so if anyone sees him, please kick his charitable scouse arse to Kendray!! Don't worry, He doesn't bite anymore. If he can make it tomorrow aft, he may be lucky enough to meet my doggie Ellie, who will be visiting too. Though she will nick his ball so maybe best leave it at the 'Well. Come on you lovely Reds, give me somthing to look forward to!! peace & Love ivrybody! Kindness and compassion All day, everyday. Tara for narr, C
N Good to hear from you, you sound like your well on the way to recovery. I know someone who is also on rehab in Kendray following a stroke. His name is Roger from Darfield, about 64 years old. Say hi from Col if you know him.
Hi mate, I haven't really seen individual comments, but thanks. Did you hear I got my house in Wentworth? Number 49, the 'upside down house' on Pole's yard. Let's catch up soon when I'm a bit more myself?
Good to hear from you Paul, I hope you're feeling 100% soon. Don't worry about the desire to go to Oakwell, you can get help for it.
Eyup Paul You may only know me from buying two of your prints of oakwell, one for me and one for my parents. I see your picture EVERY DAY, as do my parents, all of us are ex-pats, but like many I was brought up a red by my dad, It isn't his fault I am a red, I don't blame him.. Your picture brings a smile. I wish to pass that smile onto you, to your recovery and to your future happiness. Get well soon Paul.
Glad you're on the mend Paul and good to see you back on here. Get some pics on here of any new guitars you've laid your hands on. Got me hands on a mint 1990 Japanese Strat not so long back. Some barmpot let me have it for 250 quid. All I have to do now is learn how to play it instead of looking at it
I don't think I've enjoyed reading a post as much as this one this year. It's great to hear from you, Paul, old mate and to see you appearing to be in such good spirits after such a traumatic time. Love from Crystal, Kevin & Laura
