Talking of recycling. I was reliably informed by a taxi driver (yes I know!) who'd worked in that sector that the stuff we separate and take to the dump it site is then all randomly crushed together off site and shipped to China for them to use as fuel. Interesting fact of the day. Probably not true like, but hey ho!

It has happened (although the majority isn't used for fuel) but it's the exception rather than the norm. Container ships from China arrive fully loaded (we buy loads of their ****) and go back empty (they don't buy any of ours). It was thought a cost effective solution to recycling would be to fill those containers with our rubbish (cheap transport costs because the ship was sailing back empty anyway) to a place with much cheaper labour. But the majority sent over there goes pre-sorted, not all crammed together as your taxi driver mate suggests. But it has happened. Like in all businesses there are cowboys and there are **** ups.

Doubtful due to Mr Osbourne imposing his usual austerity measures on all and sundry

I was wondering if we were doing it right with the players rotting in the reserves. :)

Talking of reserves time some of them were shipped out on loan to try and enhance their skills , otherwise get rid!

Digby is a fine example of one who may benefit from such a move.

Where do you get white sack replacements from?

Also, taking an old bin down to exchange is easier said than done unless you own a huge car or borrow one

I agree. The trouble is if they show some improvement at that club we get too tempted to cash in and sell them on. I would like to see a player return and prove that it was beneficial in sending them out on loan. I thought Jennings was going to show that but it didn't happen.
