Great ..... all the waste of space loans we have and this guys available !! Could have been worse (but not much) ..... could have gone to the Blunts !
You really couldn't make this **** up... I don't know whether to laugh, cry or just shrug my shoulders
Maybe we were in for him and he chose the team higher in the league? Or he wanted to come to us and Blackburn said he's off there if he likes it or not? We don't know the ins and outs but we are already paying two loanees to sit in the stands. Would making that three to accomodate JOS be good business sense? The likes of Hammill, Isgrove and Watkins means were are more than covered in wide positions. Let Rochdale get him match fit with regular 90 minutes of football (something he never gets) and hope that when we can send some loans back we pick him up in January on loan until the end of the season by snatching him off them (as I assume they will want to extend his loan).
Glad we haven't bothered. He's signed a contract at Blackburn so obviously Lambert rates him. Sent from mi bloody iPhone
Wouldn't read much into that. His contract was up in the summer. Can't help but think Blackburn are just covering themselves by offering him a deal to make sure they get a fee should an acceptable offer come in. Win win for both player and club.
Won't hold my breath but surely the club need to comment on this one, he's better than each and every one of the horde of loanees they've brought in so far. The fact we have current loanees who line-up in the same position doesn't mean that they are any good.
What the actual... I feel like Blackburn owed us him free after all the messing about with us they did.
