Many thanks for all the good wishes and kind messages..... Strokeday plus 10. I have finally escaped from hospital, or discharged, as they call it. I have a scan next week, just to be safe, possibly surgery to follow, but unlikelt, phew..... I feel better and came gone back to my Mam's last night. Ellie is with me and later today we pick up MRS C from Sheffield and she'll be looking after me for a few days and helping me settle back in at the new house at Wentworth, which she can'r wait to see and will hopefully become a permanent fixture. Jeannie & Ellie = dream team!! xx.Many thanks to the brilliant staff in ward 23 and the stroke rehab unit. And to my lovely old girls who made my stay that bit more bearable. I'll be visiting my Lovely Lizzie next week after my scan. Time will tell how completely I will recover.I drop stuff constantly, can't type or spell for ****, but have been drawing ok. Hopefullythe humour and intolerance of cruelty and injustice is intact. I feel okay, andeverything appears to be under control. Apart from my humility levels, which are THROUGH THE GOD DAMN ROOFF!!. I'm counting my blessings and thinking of all beings worse off than myself, of which there are very many. KFC - Kindness, friendship and compassion everyone, all day, every day. Embrace difference, Peace & love,
Absolutely brilliant news, old mate. Don't try and rush things with your recuperation, Paul, just make sure you rest properly. Love from Crystal, Kevin & Laura.
Thanks Kev, hope to see you soon. Just anticipating the reaction to me suggesting attending Saturday's big match. Not such a good idea if she has sharp pencils in her angry little mitts.
Good news Mr C, take it easy and as Kev says stay away from the well for a while, it won't do your blood pressure any good whatsoever, lol.
Wonderful to hear. You can't keep a good man down. All the best Paul with your speedy recovery and I hope to see you back contributing to this forum on a more regular basis once more. You were missed. You Reds.
