    He's been one of the elite lino's for years. Good to see him make the next step, but he'll obviously never officiate our games. Let's hope for your sake he didn't hear Keith slating Barnsley for 6 months...

    I did my referee course with him

    At Honeywell college with Albert rennison who a lot will know on here

    Unfortunately I couldn't keep my mouth shut when I got abuse of players/parents

    It's a shame refs aren't allowed to give it back sometimes.

    Let's hope this ref from Barnsley have a soft spot for Port Vale today.

    wouldn't that be a real test for some of the players, especially if the ref was a bit handy, '"look girls get out of my face for now but lets have a 'chat' in the tunnel post match"
