I was encouraged with today's performance. Atrocious playing conditions - a young team whose confidence must be at rock bottom - a young manager doing his best. The team was playing for their manager today. Look at the last four matches, things are getting better. And I'm backing the team and this manager 100%.
Happy Clapper I agree. As soon as he loses the dressing room he'll be gone but that doesn't appear to be the case. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The only green shoots ive seen today are the ones I trod on heading back to the Old No 7 after the game
[Assuming this is not a windup] Totally delusional. It was an atrocious performance. A team that can't do the basics, put themeslves on the backfoot by conceding early doors and then fail to create anything of note while (supposedly) chasing the game. A point is of little use to us at this stage, but we wouldn't have had that if the opposition weren't themselves so wasteful. If you think things can improve under this regime, you're in cloud cuckoo land.
Things are better but only because of the individual quality of Hammill & Hourihane. We're still seeing a manager who can't make his mind up, big changes from one game to the next & failing to pick up points.
Things are getting better than what? The worst losing sequence for 50 odd years. This team should be doing much better, don't kid yourself.
Almost an intelligent post. Until you look at our league position and our results over the last two months
That's not a team playing for the manager. It's a team that is disjointed and loss. Hourihane and Hammill have quality and we are seeing fight from Conor. The rest seem meh about the whole thing.
