LJ is a likeable guy, but this a results business and 4 points from a possible 36 and performances like yesterdays is as bad as it gets. It was awful and I am generally optomistic but struggling believe in Lj...

I don't understand his mentality. Roberts was our most consistent and reliable player at the start of the season. Then has stand out performance against premier league Everton and gets dropped...

James Bree started season well, but when we signed Wabara LJ instantly dropped Bree. And Bree dropped again yesterday for Wabara, after solid performances in past few matches. IMHO Bree is better than Wabara in all aspects of his game. And results and performances have been better with Bree in the side. Wabara played well in his first 2-3 games but poor since, and has one featured in one winning performance. The lad is a liability.

Isgrove is another player who for me offers very little. Powder puff! Technically gifted but has offers very little. Lightweight and no end product.

Jackson is his limited time on the field has shown that he wants to play. His goals may have dried up over past few years but he is a clever, talented and experienced lad. IMHO he deserves a run in the side and would partner well with any forward.

Come January we could have another clearout and new look reds. Will loans Pearson, Smith, White, Long, Isgrove, be extended or sign perm deals. will Jackson, Wabara and Hammils deals be extended? Who will come in? Will LJ be in charge?

Difficult to say, there have been many strange decisions, eg.withdrawing Jackson for a central defender when you need a goal...ludicrous.
He's been forced to change tactics and hopefully the results might start to improve. Its only the fact that he's young (and can hopefully learn from his mistakes)that has stopped me from calling for him to be out, that and the fact that despite everything the players are still up for it.

From where I sat yesterday he didn't seem to care. I want to see some passion and support for the players on the pitch, not standing in the dug-out, motionless.

I do think we have a team capable of staying up but at the moment they have little confidence, little movement, little quality. Can't fault the energy and running about but its like watching the under 11's at times.

Lets be honest, its a poor league with poor players so any sort of form with a couple of wins back to back could make a huge difference and I honestly hope we do it.

Can LJ turn it around? could go either way. Ever the optimist..................so YES

No... he lost me after Scunny, a team we had already beaten twice. For me that was the chance to turn it around

Nice lad maybe, but a poor coach/manager

I think he can avoid relegation purely because the standard of this division is so poor. But that then raises the question as to how he contributes to us being so poor. Avoiding relegation is not success, its abject failure.

Success would be challenging for the playoffs, so no, I dont think he can turn it around to that extent.

That question was first asked on here many weeks back, and after every subsequent game (and loss) it's been asked again. Yesterday's performance in a local derby, lethargic, dull and uninspired, finally told me that he just can't motivate this team to reach anywhere remotely near their potential, and his tactics, signings and formations just don't work whatever he does.

9 losses out of 11 in the league is just astounding, to the extent that it's the worst run we've had in most supporters' memories. Not to mention losing with a whimper to a part-time side in the bottom half of the Conference. We've been unlucky in a few games (like Posh on Tuesday), but losing that many games hasn't been down to luck, just as if we'd won 9 out of the last 11 no-one would be attributing it to luck.

He might keep us up but it won't get any better than that under Johnson. I'm finally at the point where I'd welcome change.

What Mike says. I'd also add that if we stick with him I don't see much changing next season either.

Not with this squad, including Scowen. It depends what happens in January.

Unfortunately no. Poor tactically. Awful substitutions. Poor recruitment and retention. Only really Conor playing like he gives a toss. I've had dead fish eyes and pneumonia since Altrincham..

    Sadly, I don't.

I'd like him to. But it's a long old wait is this.
