So there will be one tomorrow then as it's Monday? And not important enough to put a hold on the Sunday roast. Oh god, I forgot it's the uk and time stops at the weekends

It is absolutely not important enough.

Seems like everything has stopped in Dubai an all if you've got nowt else to do but want to hear from someone at the club today.

    Why call a press conference?

"We have no intention of sacking Johnson. He's our man. It's business as usual."

In which case, they might as well arrange one to say: "This is Barnsley FC. We play at Oakwell. Our home shirts are red."

Well other clubs fire their managers on a Sunday so I naturally thought that after yesterday it would be important enough to have an inquest and press conference, but not done in Barnsley then? Not on a Sunday. Too much Yorkshire pud then to stay awake in the afternoon

No you weren't. You were demanding then went on a weird critique of British culture. Anyway, Sunday in Dubai sounds like you should be busy, mate, no time to be complaining on football forums!

You do realise we are bottom of the league?
Draws are of no use at the bottom.
    Wins are needed

A win yesterday and we'd have been out of the bottom four. Point was if he hasn't been sacked before he isn't going to be sacked after a draw in a local derby against a team above us in the league

Why would it be. do you need an "inquest" and press conference for ever drawn game? Strange really.

Wasn't you on facebook who came on demanding we sack him because we'd lost yesterday - he hadn't realised we had equalized :)

The facts are we did not win and we plummeted to the depths of the league.

Ok for some i guess but i set my sights some what higher
