We come to the end of November & find ourselves bottom of the table.

I was more pessimistic than most as the season started, saying a mid table season was as good as we were going to get, but even I hadn't seen this coming.

So you ask yourself, "why has this happened?"

Long injury list perhaps, missing vital players? .... Well no. Hourihane out for two months & the slightly bizarre Williams situation, but I'd say this season we have been fairly lucky with injuries.

Loads of bad luck / refereeing decisions? Can't point to many. Most games we could have lost by more to be honest.

The only two things i can come up with are:

    1. Manager who is inexperienced & does not know how to set up his side. The random changes & players dropped after decent performances (i.e. Bree Saturday for one)

    2. Inexperienced team, that the manager seemed happy with, until we went on our nearly record braking run of defeats.

    Solution:

    1. Sack the manager & reappoint Danny Wilson.

    2. Give him a few quid to bring in 2 or 3 more experienced players that are actually signed to us.

    3. Send all loan players back, with the exception of Pearson.

    4. Start to actually play our promising youth players, as they can't be any worse than the sh!te we have on loan

Agree with all that except the Danny Wilson bit.

    Stuart Gray for me

    No I don't.

I've stopped expecting anything at Oakwell.

I didn't want Danny to come back first time, but the decision to sack him was absolute horse sh!te. But then we do have ******** Ben at the helm.
An admission they got it wrong might be the road to salvaging the club. At the moment we are on the road to perdition.

Send all loan players back, including Pearson.

What do you think he brings to the team? Serious question. I'm struggling, I really am, and I'm at my wits end with his sideways runs and sideways passes and the ease he lets midfield runners passed him ....

I honestly think the decision to sack Wilson was the right one but I would for sure have him back now!

Obviously DW won't be returning but couldn't agree more with everything else especially with regard to the majority of loanees; let's use our own and support them. Klopp gave an excellent interview recently about coaching the players you have rather than continually changing personnel.

I don't think DW will come back.

Thing is there are no real names being mentioned & as he shouldn't have been sacked in the first place it was the best I could come up with.

If we got Gary Megson for example I'd be reaching for the service revolver. Him first, then me...

People say there is no way that Danny would come back and they're probably right but we could do a lot worse than ask him; it wouldn't cost us anything and the worst that could happen is that he'd say no or something similar. I'd do everything within my power to get him back.

asking DW back would be barmy surely, if it didn't work what would you do, you are just painting yourself into a corner.
imho far better to go for Stuart Gray, ex Barnsley, treated harshly by the Fowls, it might still not be ultra exciting but we would be disciplined ,well organised and picking up points.
would be good then if somebody could get Gerry Taggart in as a number 2,then we would have passion and a unifying persona!

Getting Wilson back would be a slightly better option than keeping LJ. Neither should have been getting anywhere near the managers job.
