100% agree but I've made a rule to withdraw from political threads on here so I'll be saying no more on the subject.

    Sorry, don't get you?

My Great Grandad. (I don't think that is name dropping), happens to be the only person i met (when he was alive, RIP, for 25 years now), who saw Barnsley win the FA Cup & was wounded at the Somme in 1916. These "nationalist" comments would have been more welcome in Germany at the time.

It's surely to cut off the point at which these terrorists are armed and funded.

But that won't happen because the west doesn't want that to happen, and they've helped to fund and arm them. As usual. It's being going on for years. I just feel sad that we're involving ourselves in it again. But then, this government doesn't represent me anyway.

My Great Grandad's bigger than your Great Grandad so I'm the only one that's allowed an opinion on fairly unrelated subjects

I'll take the first sentence as a question and the second as a compliment.

If that WAS a question, then the answer is neither of us have.

Has this John got a new motor or been jilted? Is he only dancing? Is he big bad?

Your next connection with any john will I suspect be with your head inside one.

    Things'll look better tomoz.

He was referring to my cousin John, who is an ex marine & gulf war veteran., whom he referred to as "Jehadi John" wake up mate. I know you are a reasonable bloke. You wouldn't put up with this.

He's right though. This entire thread is you name dropping and trying to justify your point by saying how brilliant your cousin is and your great grandfather and so you MUST be right and then you're getting ridiculously aggressive at anyone and everyone.

He was joking and I thought that was obvious. I'm ex Army so I can be quite terse about subjects like this but I wouldn't take offence at somebody having a bit of a joke.
