Depends where you get them I suppose. Mine are like jet fighters. I get them from the Airfix shop.

Either it's because the clothes hang better or because most designers are gay men who like their women boyish.

This thread is as bad as the 'real' women posts that are constantly about.

Seems unfair to call models weirdos mate.

They are having to conform to an unfathomable fashion industry's perception of how clothes best look on a female.

Having said that, I LOVE skinny women!

After having approved their exceptional personality first ovo.

    Personal preference innit?

Aye all about personal preference. Skinny models types like Gigi Hadid and especially Cara Delevinge I can't understand at all why they are so popular and seen as role models. However as much as I think Kendall Jenner is too skinny she's still the best of the Kharadashian/Jenner brood of five :)

I don't know which models you are referring to so I looked up Victoria Secret's model and they generally have a waist size of 23-25 inch and hip size of 34-35 inch. A difference of 10 inch is pretty curvy and definitely not 'boyish'. It's not even that thin, my waist is slightly over 24 inch and I'm certainly not any boyish!

Look up the models that are catwalk models, they are size zero, no bust and shaped like an ironing board !

Size zero is an American size, it is the equivalent of a 4/6 in England depending on the shop. Again though, a size zero waist is 23-25 inch dependent on the shop, which is not so different to mine. Now, I can tell you that I eat all sorts of rubbish, pretty much constantly and I am naturally this shape (I was a stone heavier as I wrote about on here but even then my size didn't alter much). I can imagine that it really wouldn't be difficult for someone to be thinner than me just by paying a bit more attention to what they eat or by actually doing some exercise once in a blue moon. I have hips to go with it but only because that is my natural shape, if I didn't then would I be a 'weirdo' too? The less said about my bust the better.

Not sure if it’s really owt to do with women at all.
It applies to all the crap that’s advertised in glossy magazines etc – all overpriced rubbish that no one actually needs.
Be that expensive clothes, perfumes, jewellery, garden furniture, crazy food.
All of this is unsustainable and morally suspect in a world when many don’t have the essentials.
And then the next article will be about environmental issues.
How can they publish these side by side and not see the irony?
