If we allow him to make signings in january and then give him the time to see how it pans out, we may aswell accept L2 right now, itll be far too late. What has he done to warrant being given that opportunity?

Also, I cant get my head around this argument of picking up 4 points out of the last 9, with the squad we have for this league, that should be an absolute minimum.

The argument is simply that 4 points from 9 is miles better than 0 from 24 is it not? It's an upturn in form. Pure numbers. I don't understand how you can't understand that.

It would certainly be a start. I personally believe the squad we have is good enough to be pushing towards top6 in this league if we had the right man in charge, maybe one or two signings. Our problem this season starts and stops at Lee Johnson.

Personally if I was Cryne, I'd go with my tail between my legs and get Robins to come back. He'd install some steel and make us a lot harder to beat for starters.

Oh right so he's doing absolutely bloody marvellously beating his previous record of 8 defeats on the trot. Lets get the medals out for LJ.

We've fired good ones. My point is that the future is certainly not guaranteed to be rosy if we sack him - I'd rather the Board stuck by their convictions, give him what he's asked for in terms of experience & then make a decision on it.

I don't think we'll be relegated - there's a chance - but I think we'll be ok. And then hopefully this season is a massive lesson for all concerned.

On what basis do you think we'll be OK?

I've no idea. Hope probably. But I think there's enough talent in that squad that with some additions in January to give it the experience it needs then we should be ok. Obviously it then comes down to collective responsibility in terms of getting them in.

This is the long & short of it - it's not just his fault. If you want him sacking then the lot should go.

Because it's just that easy is it?

Sack LJ, pay him his half a mil compo and while the books out, tear out a second cheque for Robins?

It's medals or bullets with you isn't it?

4 points from 9 is better than 0 from 24. That is all I said.

Twist it to support your sarcasm if you want. What I actually said is there for all to see.

From bottom there is only one way to go and we are doing that and the 3 games previous to Saturday we started to look like a more attacking force, Saturday was back to being an awful performance hopefully, this is a blip and not back to constant defeats.

No but 4 points from 9 is hardly the corner being turned is it?

I'm saying it looks like it may be the start of it, when you compare it to the dreadful return of 0 from 24. My whole point in the first place.

But what I'm saying is even Mike Bassett could improve on 8 straight defeats. It couldnt get any worse and I'd hardly call 4 from 9 the required level.

Can we settle on 4 beats nowt but they are the worst 4 points we have been given in the history of the club and were no way associated with Lee Johnson.

You're right about that. It isn't the required level. But that's not what I was saying. I was saying it's an improvement. Which it is. But you argued with that.

We need play-off form now in order to comfortably stave off the threat of relegation. So I'd say 6-7 points from 9.

Who knows, had Isgrove slipped that one away first off on Saturday we may well have been sitting on 6 from 9 and perhaps it would look like we had turned the corner. But that's a different argument altogether. Incidentally, you can hardly blame LJ for Isgrove not burying that. Watkins has done his job and got round the back, Hourihane's supporting as the attacking midfielder should and Isgrove is in the box as the opposite winger should be when the other one has the ball in the final third. He just fvcked it up.

You could also argue if theyd taken one of their chances we'd be on 3.

Your right 4 is better than 0 but its still not enough to warrant him being given more time.

    totally agree.

Whilst there are many posts calling for the sacking of LJ they come from a minority of posters repeating themselves ad infinitum.

The majority of posters are NOT calling for him to go. Some posters pro LJ and many un-committed.
