'I see that Gary Neville has been made Valencias Head Coach. That means Ben Mansford will be picking the team. That's how it appears to me.'

    Quite funny I thought

Surely his time could be better spent than verbally feighting supporters, or is this what he does now he aint sacking managers and scouring the footballing world for cheap, easy led managers.

I see Valencia are using our 'Try before you buy' policy that we use for players. Maybe we should also apply this to Managers?

He is a comedy genius. Perhaps he might like to turn his razor sharp wit to the fact that we've been ******* **** at football for the last fifteen years.

Perhaps people need to lighten up a touch. He's taken plenty of flak on the chin. Isn't he entitled to a bit of bantz? Fair play to him, I say..

More people appear to be finding it funny than not judging by the responses on Twitter.

I'm in the 'need to lighten up a touch' camp. Although I think that's due to the quality/content of the joke rather than him trying to find humour in adversity.

Trouble I have is that no one with any credibility/isn't a nutter ever suggested or believed that Ben Mansford picked the team. Personally, I've never heard it suggested anywhere. The only person who appeared to take the issue seriously was when Mr Cryne stood up in the no 7 and denied that it happened.

Taking the piss is fine, but take the piss out of us for something we've actually said/believe in.

I'm guessing he means that G Nev is now a head coach (as is LJ). Few folk rumour mongouring few weeks back that BM picks our team, so he'll now be picking G Nevs aswell.

I didn't say on here! Couple of numpties on FB pages commenting from what I saw. Wasn't a mass tirade granted, but I'm guessing he got wind of it.

From memory the comments were like ''I've heard that........''

    The 'joke' is terrible.

It'd only make sense if Mansford worked at Valencia in some capacity.

It's quite enlightening to see that at a time when the club is at the bottom of the third tier of English football and quite possibly heading to the forth tier for the first time since 1979 that the only public reaction from the owner of the Club is a weak and feeble attempt to take the piss out of its long suffering fans. May be an interview in the chronicle or on local radio apologising for the total **** up he's making of Running Barnsley FC would have been more appropriate. Or maybe I've just lost my sense of humour.

I thought I'd lost my sense of humour too, because PC's 'joke' didn't make me laugh at all. But I can't have done as you just made me laugh.
