    I see that the in / out poll on this board is in favour of our present manger being sacked by a vote of 157 to 69.

    A number of questions arise from this vote.

    How representative is this Board of Barnsley supporters?

    Who would "fans" on this Board suggest replaces our current manager?

    How many of those who voted in this poll actually go to watch Barnsley play? My suggestion is that it is less than 50%.

    How many of those who voted have "second teams" who they support in addition to BFC?

    What is a Supporter?

    I think that this Board is unrepresentative of the general Barnsley fan. A number of people on here
    talk about stopping going to watch the team and giving up their season tickets. I suggest that these people are not true supporters
    and I wonder how they will rationalise their return to the fold when things look up as they surely will.

    What a depressing place this is with folk who apparently wake up in the morning and whose first thought is to put something on here
    of a totally negative nature.

    I have supported Barnsley since the 1950's. I have seen many ups and downs in my time but I am a supporter and will continue to be so whatever
    happens.

    It's the best known board but only a tiny proportion of fans ever post on it.

    So the real purpose of this post is to prove you are a better fan ?
    Well done, but I will say this, if it depresses you reading the BBS, why do you read it ? If something makes me feel bad or annoys me I dont bother with it!

    I take it your of the opinion LJ should stay then? And because others dont think so they arent true fans?

    Where did I say I was/am a better fan? I am a Barnsley fan and supporter and I stand along side all other
    true Barnsley fans and supporters.

    You haven't seen us in the 4th tier since the 70's and at the moment thats the standard of football we are playing and why we are bottom of the League. What surprises me is the lack of negativity and that there are still people willing to give LJ and the club a chance. If you were on the terraces in the late 60's and 70's there wasn't exactly an overall atmosphere of euphoria was there

    LJ could drop on a couple of decent signings in Jan, go on a good run cos this league is dog shxt, get us up the table and then go to the blunts as there new manager when they sack adkins. Patience rewarded.
