American shooting

    It's a big deal apparently that the woman involved has, under a fake name on a fake Facebook account that was then deleted leaving no trace, pledged allegiance to IS at some point in the past.

    And what makes this event so different to the other three hundred and fifty odd mass shootings this year is that the shooter tried to escape. Well its different apart from all the others where the shooter has tried to escape anyway it's that they had explosives. Well apart from the others where there were explosives. Have they managed to gain access to James Homes' property yet or is it still booby trapped?
    That there were two shooters. Well that's different apart from all the others anyway the most famous mass shooting in American history had two white guys shooting up a school.

    And that a woman was involved. Tell me why I don't like Mondays...

    Lies, damn lies and statistics.

    I'll tell you what though, if the authorities were anywhere near as efficient at finding evidence against the rest of the population as they are at finding evidence against muslims the world would be a hell ofna lot safer. If they aren't bringing their passports tonevery crimenthry commit they are conveniently having a secret Facebook account that was deleted but can be found in seconds.

    But you have to differentiate why those 36,000 were injured or killed
    How many are killed or injured in Drink Driving situations each year, is the car/vehicle not a lethal weapon I ll bet there are far more

    They were killed or injured because they were shot.

    A gun is designed for killing, a car is designed for transportation. To compare one to the other is crazy

    Would it supprise you to know that in London alone there are 1000 knife crimes a month, you gonna carry a knife
    just look up a few stats on Firearms offences 2007 there were 18500 not bad eh for a country with strict laws on firearms
    Bad guys will always get weapons , would you prefer to be able to protect you and yours or take your chances with a stern tellin off,or even worse put your faith in the Law :confused:

    Itsmserved me well so far. Never carried a knife or gun and never been murdered. So far so good

    Werent an old fella stabbed to death in Wombwell not long ago its there lad stay lucky ;)

    Did you know that there are NO recorded instances of a mass killer EVER being killed by an armed bystander that wanted to stop the killer ! Yet that is one of the main defences for keeping the gun law untouched in the USA !!

    The usual " MASS KILLER" more than 3 deaths are cowardly and usually take up "Soft targets" unfortunatley schools etc its usually done in seconds when there is little chance to react, ****s
    But there are hundreds of of instances when there have been deaths by innocent members of the public who have intervened in attemted home invasions, armed robbery, attempted murders etc

    Just think if these knifes had been guns!
    There'll always be criminals and murders etc that will never stop the more difficult we make it for mass murder the better without too many restrictions on the law abiding populace.
    The gun laws in us are insane .

    Without examining the firearm stats, that figure could well be very misleading, kids using airguns or playing with replica guns I think are logged as firearms incidents these days, the numbers of real firearms are not that common...I think I'm right in saying that since South Yorkshire Polices firearms team were formed in the early 1970's they have never had to fire a shot.

    Yes they are misleading ,that was done on purpose just like the figure I was replying to was misleading,if you only put half the info on you can make the stats suit your own agenda ,and guess what half the people on social media sites believe them. Ridiculous ;)

    And what a surprise. The fake Facebook account posting with a fake name posting allegiance was completely made up.

    The authorities cpuldn't lie straight in bed when it comes to their agendas
