Why is it classed as "tin pot"? The cup is for teams like us in the lower divisions. Its a chance to play at Wembley for lots of players who otherwise would never get the chance.Likewise supporters get a great day out at the national stadium maybe a once in a lifetime event.Lets also not forget the exposure and financial side of things. The final averages around 60.000 crowds.Whats not to like about it?

I would be very surprised at 60,000

I know last year because of how many Bristol sold but didn't think it was a normal attendance year on year out

    Fantastic if so

I agree to a certain extent but I think 60 k for the final is a tad optimistic for this season. I'd we are fortunate enough to get there I'd be surprised to see us take more than 15k tbh. Southend or Millwall may top 30k as they are so close. Reckon 45k max for final. Still be a good day out I'd it happens tho...:)

When we had our FA cup run I was desperate for us to win the cup, and would have happily took that and relegation, if that was the deal.

Others wanted to stay in the championship and would take that over winning the cup.

With this cup I couldn't care less. I'd rather lose 10-0 over two legs and take 2 league wins instead.

I was checking the JP crowds earlier and they ranged between 34k to 80k.I think Crewe v Southend a couple of years ago attracted 45k.
