Okay he missed a Penalty but i'd so like Barnsley to sign someone like him up.

He just offers so much for me. Came on and realised where the space was. and then just caused Nyatanga so many problems one on one. He looked a big lad when he came on, not in a negative way but just muscular.

I've been hoping Barnsley sign what I was call the all round striker for a while. I don't think we have one at the club at the moment although with time Toney will get their.

Wilkinson, Okay when it's to feet but running in behind or having to win the ball in the air hes terrible
Smith, good in the air but so clumsy when it's to feet and so slow.
Jackson, honestly think hes the best think we've got to the all round striker at the moment IMO.
Winnall, did okay yesterday but not for me. He just looks so slow. Okay in the air I suppose.

It's something I remember talking to Whitey and Bossman about during the Huddersfield game at half time and it's something the club haven't sorted for me.

Winnall will get goals though Phil. If he plays all season he'll come away with between 12 and 15...

Okay Matt. Is 12/15 goals enough if your offering so little to the team. A Davies will get you the same amount but will offer a load more.

We've brought Hammill into the team and whilst he may come out with 6 goals 6 assists in 11 games I don't see the assists adding up. 6 goals from Adam, yes fine he can do that with a bit of luck.

Agree Davies offers what we haven't got - a bit of muscle and nous up front.
Out of our price range I would have thought.

I like the snippets I've seen of Jackson, and can't understand why he hasn't featured more.

Winnall is a good striker in this league - if you play to his strengths.

The Davies I remember can't really be called a team player.

Davies has the touch n control of an elephant.

Fond memories of the Birmingham n Peterborough performances though!

Two in how many league games though Matt? 6 starts (total 7 appearances) . 45 starts 15 goals.

Talking about one thing doesn't really do it for me Matt. Everton have the best all round striker in the country IMO. lukaku, does he score the most? No. 10 league goals in 36 appearances.

Are you remembering the player we had over 18 month or 2 month.

I remember Davies positively . Those that were at London Road for the 3-4 game will also remember him scoring the winner. Doncaster at homes another that springs out and the Birmingham away game live on Sky.

I liked Davies, but he wouldn't be for me now. Better than Wilkinson and Smith yes, but that's not a reason to want him back. I would pick Winnall before him every day of the week. But I know you don't rate him. That's football/opinions.

Lukaku is a brilliant player, still gobsmacked Everton got him but he's nowhere near Agueros level, yet. Or Kanes for that matter.

You rate Kane higher than Lukaku?

Since football was invented in 92/93 he is only the 5th player to score 50 premier league goals before the age of 23

The others being Fowler Owen Rooney and Ronaldo.

Winnall, when played properly, is a better striker than Davies. I'd take Sam over Davies any day.
