Ask John Stones, not Keith Hill or David Flitcroft , ask John Stones who was the biggest influence on his career !!Go on ask him ! I have told you before how I know , but you said I was wrong, but you never checked did you ! . I know the answer to that is NO !! You didnt ask John, you just quoted what Flitcroft said ! Now if that is trying to get you to argue , then **** me !! You spout stuff , but when you are corrected you just ignore it !
I was privately talking to him on facebook one night, as you do... and he told me he might come to Redfearn's for the game the next day. It was the Bradford home game. We had the BBS meet up same day. He said other things. And when I spoke with him in Redfearn's the next day, we both referred to things we'd said on facebook. So if it int him, then I'm Jasper Carrot. It's also him because he's said it's him. Forgive me if I've missed some joke here.
As I said earlier.. So either we got lucky because we didn't know how good he was, or (and I prefer to believe this story), Mr Cryne knew exactly what he was doing and as he stated tonight, he knew that a sell on clause would get us a lot more in the future than we ever could ourselves in 2013. But you can't pretend he didn't say (in the pub) that he hadn't a clue how good he was. In fact, he wasn't even sure who the lad was. But like I say (and I've said this to him, you know what am like) I think the second story is true. Which means the first was........??
If it is then I'm disappointed. But it's like ghosts. Until I see it with my own eyes then I refuse to believe it.
