In the world of popular music which famous* artist would you nominate for the firing squad for which song/album track.... My vote goes to Mr Bowie......Laughing Gnome *Note by famous I mean of some standing
I went to Kev Nuttings funeral and they played The Joker( Steve Miller Band) as you entered the crem.I'm sure some of our older members will remember Kev.
The Beatles for Ob-la-di Ob-la-dah is quite an obvious choice. And if Paul McCartney survives that, he should be obliterated North Korean style for the fcking frog song with Rupert the Bear. And before anyone starts dissing Ringo, I'm happy to admit that I like Octopus's Garden.
Sting. For calling himself Sting for a start. And then for everything he's ever done, said, sung or played. De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da? **** off.
Bruce Springsteen or Noddy Holder (is there a difference) for shouting a lot on any track you like. CR.ap
Green day. Red hot chilli peppers. Nickleback. Only one bullet I'd line em up end to end and hope it got em all.
The Frog chorus by Paul McCartney is horrendous. A lot of Stevie Wonder's work is awful but I'm going for Russians by Sting ' the Russians love their children too' no ****ing **** ********. The lyrics to band aid are pretty horrendous. earth some Michael Jackson still makes me shudder.
Mumford and Sons. I don't know how I can be so offended by something so bland but I can't stand the faux folk tweed tw4ts.
Christina aguilera for dirrty on account of crimes against nature. The amount of tissues I've gone through while watching that video I must have single handedly (fnar fnar) destroyed an entire rainforest* and its all down to her. * This is of course assuming tissue is made out of trees, which it probably isn't.
I have to object to that. It might not be Yesterday but my daughter loves it. And compared to the hours of computer generated versions of No More Monkeys Jumping On The Bed it replaced I will be eternally grateful to Rupert, Paul and every frog that ever hopped the earth.
I think you'll find it's Roderick not Rodney. I agree though, but I'd call his latest stuff anything he's released since about 1975.
