yes, lewin fecked i up again, pretty , much as he has done ALL season for us, why oh why does johnson persist with players who constantly let the team down????????????

i also blame lewin and our MOM for their first goal, they were nowhere to be seen when their lad popped the ball in the net...

Unfortunately the experienced Nyatanga, who wasn't in any immediate trouble, decided to wait for his inexperienced goalkeeper to take charge of the situation instead of getting shut. This resulted in miscommunication and thus the calamity that was the second goal.

Only seen replays but both at fault. Davies came out then didn't do anything and Nyatanga just left the ball whilst stood next to it.

Defending for first goal was as bad. Long ball up, we didn't win the first header, the midfield left the runner in acres of space at the edge of the area and White was wrong side of his man.

Nyatanga at fault. You simply cannot just stop and leave the ball hoping your 'keeper will sprint out and perhaps get there. He's played pro football for nearly a decade and should be dealing with it. He even had the luxury of seeing the Wigan lad coming and was all of ten yards away. Poor.

    1) surely Tangs got a call from Davies for him to leave it instead of putting his boot through it
    2) why the hell was Davies running 25 yard off his line to clear the ball when it was there for his CB to clear
Him n Townsend wouldn't make a decent keeper between em
And people used to slate Luke Steele

I think it was Davies' fault. I can only presume he shouted that it was his ball for Nyatanga to back off like he did.

Clearly Nayatangas fault. He stood back waving and shouting his keeper out. Trouble is the ball was never going to even reach the area and held up about 5 yards out. No doubt that a centre half should be clearing balls 25 yard out when he is the last man. Unfortunately standing back letting in a striker who is not even in a dangerous position. He should simply just cleared or took control of the ball. Shows how disorganised and lacking in confidence our defence is. Have we played same 4 in consequetive games this season? How many gifts have we given at the back, even before we got to the season of goodwill.
